Police closed an Inverness city centre road after a crash involving a vehicle and cyclist.
The incident on Castle Street near Inverness Castle happened at about 09:40.
The road was closed for several hours before later being reopened.
A police van had been parked across Castle Street near to where it joins Culduthel Road, and drivers were diverted along Old Edinburgh Road.
